Marco Bento is a passionate educator and researcher dedicated to bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications in educational technology. He teaches at the Coimbra School of Education in Coimbra Polytechnic University and researches educational technology and teacher training / pedagogical practices at the Center for Research, Education, Training and Intervention at the Porto School of Education. He is also a researcher in educational technology at the Center for Research in Education, at the University of Minho.
Marco spearheads the Luso-Brazilian Educational Technology Research Center (NIPTecEDU) and guides Colégio Santa Eulália, the first Google For Education reference school in Portugal. He founded and co-leads the SUPERTABi project for nine years to advance education around the three dimensions of pedagogy, technology and learning space.
He is the coordinator of the European research project STEAMing Ahead, which promotes STEAM education through teacher cooperation.

Dr. José Alberto Lencastre is the Associate Professor of Educational Technology at the Institute of Education of the University of Minho, Portugal and a a leading expert in online education. He holds a PhD in Educational Technology and has extensive experience in designing and implementing online learning environments. Notably, Dr. Lencastre created a virtual platform that supports a flipped classroom approach, a blended learning method.
Dr. Lencastre is a prolific researcher with over 150 publications on integrating technology into both online and traditional education. Current projects include exploring innovative pedagogical practices using active methodologies, hybrid learning models and digital technologies through research partnerships across Europe and Latin America.

Before this, Schrader taught science and career and technical education classes to middle school students in Cheney, Washington, for 15 years, and was a rocket scientist working for NASA on the shuttle. She also teaches science methods classes at Whitworth University and Gonzaga University. Schrader has spoken internationally on AI, STEAM, and Game-based learning, is a National Board certified teacher, and served as a U.S. Department of Education Fellow from 2008 to 2009.
