I learned how to give credit and cite the source and alsao how often these security issues can happen but its not talked about much. It also open my eyes about how important cybersecurity is.

Floridians were scammed out of more than $1 Billion in 2024 according to a report released from the FBI. Scammers are increasingly using the internet to steal Americans hard earned savings. The majority of reported losses nearly 83% were due to cyber enabled fraud. The FBI think this was still an undercount of how much was actually stolen from Florida Residents, this money was just from residents who reported it. The average loss per person was $19,372.
To avoid these problems No business or government will ever email, text, or message you on social media to ask for money. Look into cybersecurity training and see what potential scams you can avoid.

Accuracy and Purpose - I think this is a trusted source coming from Jacksonville, the website also used FBI released documents making this trusted. Website has some ads on it and it also has some embedded links you can see one of them of the FBI report, other links you need to subcribe and pay more to see.
A European Union privacy watchdog fined TikTok 530 Million Euros ($600 Million) after a four year investigation found that the video sharing apps data transfers to china put users at risk of spying in breach of strict EU data privacy rules. This is concerning to know about because its such a simple app just like other social medias but your privacy might not be protected.
To prevent any privacy concerns sometimes dont provide your actual name in your account and create another email specifically for apps, an email that doesnt provide your name and an email you dont use for personal reasons.
