Eduardo Fernández

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I am part of the Geometry and Topology Group and work with  John Etnyre. Previously, I was a Limited-Term Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia, working with David Gay and Gordana Matić.

I earned my PhD in Mathematics in May 2021 from ICMAT–Universidad Complutense de Madrid, under the supervision of Francisco Presas.

I regularly attend the Georgia Tech Geometry and Topology Seminar and have been a co-organizer of the joint Georgia Tech–UGA Topology Seminar since 2023.
