Overview
The needs assessment is based on the Georgia School Ningbo. This privately run foreign school was founded in 1995. It is licensed and authorized by Zhejiang Education Bureau in China and accredited by Wester Association of Schools and Colleges. It offers an Advanced Placement program and on-site Advanced Placement examinations. Academics include Pre-Kindergarten Program, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, LAMPs+Enrichment Program and ELL Program, following the American international curriculum. To meet the needs of the campus, technical and operational procedures, policies and processes will need to be in place for instructional purposes. This survey will be used to enhance teaching and learning instruction as technology is consistently integrated and improved upon. Teachers will fill out the survey under different sub-headings to generate reflection and constructive feedback.
In our modern teacher's workplace within a school, technology seamlessly intertwines with traditional educational practices, creating a dynamic and innovative environment. Within the classroom, interactive whiteboards adorn the walls, serving as canvases for digital lessons and collaborative activities. Each teacher wields a laptop or tablet, equipped with educational software tailored to engage and empower students in their learning journeys. Beyond the classroom, digital platforms streamline administrative tasks, from grading assignments to communicating with parents.
In a school where technology is embraced as a fundamental tool for learning, teachers and students form a symbiotic relationship, united by their shared enthusiasm for innovation and exploration. Teachers, equipped with a deep understanding of educational technology, guide their students through immersive digital experiences, fostering a collaborative and dynamic learning environment. Students, digital natives in their own right, eagerly engage with a plethora of technological resources, from interactive simulations to online research platforms, leveraging them to deepen their understanding and creativity across various subjects.
