Multimedia presentations are an easy method to engage students both visually and interactively. We chose this form of delivery because the target audience can be easily engaged with sounds and images. We are also able to have embedded polls in which students can interact as well.

The target audience has been identified as prospective advanced degree-seeking students who need to be informed about the Educational Technology program. We chose to convey the essential information by using text, graphics, sound, and animation to deliver a clear idea of the program's purpose and future career effectiveness, including career choices and annual salary, to the intended audience.
Using media technology to present a new topic to someone allows presenters to be inclusive of all learning styles and allow our multicultural community to understand the concepts better.
We will use the first and second levels of Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model by providing a short poll at the beginning and ending of the video. We will use the information provided by students to evaluate the effectiveness of the multimedia presentation.
The multimedia presentation will be created with the idea that the student will come from many backgrounds and cultures. The inherent nature of online learning allows for students of all geological locations to attend courses and complete the program.
