Tool #1: Microsoft Outlook Calendar
This tool is very helpful for students who tend to procrastinate and loose track of when assignments are due. Just as you write in a notebook, you can click any time slot in the Outlook Calendar and start typing. By using the Calendar you can create appointments and events, organize meetings, view group schedules, and much more. However, a person who is very busy can have a confusing calendar.
Tool #2: Focus To-Do
Focus To-Do is an app that was created to help students with procrastination. Focus To-Do is an easy-to-use time and task management application that helps you to manage tasks anywhere and anytime, and helps you to perform tasks efficiently. Millions of users around the world use this application and have gained efficiency. However, there have been recent malfunctions with the app.
Tool #3: MyFitnessPal
MyFitnessPal was created to help individuals manage their exercise and eating habits. MyFitnessPal is a smartphone app and website that tracks diet and exercise. I also like how it offers auto-renewing systems. The app uses gamification elements to encourage adherence to exercise and diet goals. This tool can help students stay healthy while under academic stress. However, this app tends to deplete your phone's battery.
Designing my own digital tool:
I want my tool to help with procrastination because I suffer from this negative habit as well
I want my tool to have an ease-of-use element
I want to have a calendar function that sends consistent notifications of important upcoming events
I want my tool to have a time management and analytics function that enables students to understand their daily habits
