In this video you can learn more about the context surrounding our practice-based school research project. Our project is externally funded by ULF. The Swedish acronym ULF stands for Utbildnig (Education, Lärande (Learning), and Forskning (Research). ULF is a national pilot project commissioned by the Swedish government from 2017 to 2024 that develops and tests sustainable collaboration models between academia and the school or school system regadring research, school activities and teacher training. An important way ULF differs from large parts of previous collaboration is the emphasis on collaboration between schools and academia on an equal footing. This means, for example, that professional groups within schools should be able to initiate development and research projects, not just researchers. In this video you can listen to teachers, teacher students, researchers and PhDs talk about practice-based school research, with our project as an example.
