AMRITHA SHVETHAMBARI VIDYAPATHI

Amritha Shvethambari is trained in classical Kandyan dance by her parents Ravibandhu Vidyapathy and Samanthi Vidyapathy. Later she learned classical kathak by Guru Moksha Samarasooriya. She has performed nationally and internationally as a lead dancer of Ravibandhu - Samanthi Dance Ensemble founded by her parents.In 2020, Amritha was trained in classical kathak dance , Edgevin style and In her training she accured knowledge in how to develop emotions within the dance and choreography under Artistic Director of Edgevin Vihan Company Vihanga Rukshan for 1 year. She also worked as a repertory dancer and the general manager of the company.
