Each school year, the Edgerton Elementary PTA sets aside funds to support teachers and staff through classroom and school grants. These funds come from PTA fundraising and community donations and are intended to provide resources, experiences, and opportunities that enrich learning and strengthen our school community.
Grant requests may be submitted by any current Edgerton teacher or staff member. Requests can support an individual classroom, grade level, specialist program, student group, or schoolwide initiative.
To make the review process more efficient and allow the PTA to consider requests together, grant applications will be reviewed during two funding cycles this school year:
Fall application deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026
Spring application deadline: Friday, February 5, 2027
Applications received by each deadline will be reviewed and voted on by the PTA following the close of that funding cycle. Applicants may be contacted if additional information is needed before a decision is made.
Funding is limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee full or partial funding. Requests will be considered based on available funds, the number of students served, and the feasibility and timing of the request. Unused funds from the fall grant cycle will remain available for the spring cycle.
All current Edgerton teachers and staff are welcome to apply.
