Eden Ng’s artistic journey started out from playing in a Chinese Orchestra in Primary School for 6 years, before shifting to choral arts with the Tanjong Katong Secondary School Choir in 2016 at the age of 13. Under the direction of Choral Maester Nelson Kwei, his passion for classical singing was ignited and cultivated. During that time he involved himself in many choral projects such as singing for the ASEAN Summit 2018 and Singapore’s Bicentennial commemoration concert 2019, both with the Vocal Consort.
In Junior College, Eden was appointed student conductor for the Saints Chorale at St Andrews Junior College, where he was recognised for his leadership and dedication to the art. Subsequently, he began taking voice lessons from Singapore's premier baritone, Martin Ng, to further his independent studies as a classical singer. Through these experiences, Eden became a seasoned singer, actively involving himself around Singapore's performing arts scene. He was eventually appointed Choir Director of the Saints Alumni Choir, as well as the committee of the Vocal Consort, while also involving himself with projects by the Singapore Lyric Opera, The Opera People, and Youth Opera Comique.
His most notable involvements include: leading the Saints Alumni Choir on the Victoria Concert Hall and Esplanade stages; earning a Gold award (Mixed Choir Open category) with The Crescendos at the 2025 Singapore International Choral Festival, under the guidance of Benedict Goh; joining the ensemble chorus for The Opera People's production of La Sonnambula; and performing as a recital soloist with the Singapore Lyric Opera Youth Wing, mentored by Chorus Master Terrence Toh.
As conductor of the Saints Alumni Choir, Eden continues to grow as a musician and leader, driven by a commitment to choral excellence and to inspiring his choristers to honour the choir's shared mission and living memory.
As an educator, Eden’s philosophy stems from ensuring exposure for his students in terms of genre diversity in classical singing. Through his philosophy, he has worked as a vocal coach, specialising in mature voices from teens through adults, with a focus on diverse repertoire and the unique vocal challenges of older beginners and experienced singers. His notable teaching roles include vocal coaching for Chung Cheng High Main Choir and Yishun Innova Junior College Chorale, as well as conducting the King Edward Hall Choir of NUS.
