Wool Care Overview:
To care for wool, wash infrequently in cold water on a gentle cycle without an oscillator with wool specific detergent. Preferred- hand wash in cold water wool specific shampoo such as Kookaburra Wash with pH-neutral or mild baby shampoo.
Gently spot clean stains, refresh by airing or steaming, and never use bleach or fabric softeners
Always air dry flat to prevent stretching and shrinkage, avoiding heat and sunlight, and store clean items folded in sealed containers to protect from moths. It is also recommended to put unused dryer sheets or cedar woodchips to help repel moths.
