Beyond marketing, I’ve been deeply engaged in science education and youth empowerment since the age of 16, when I joined the Ethiopian Space Science Society as a Youth Space Ambassador. Since then, I’ve organized national outreach programs like AstroBus Ethiopia, led public lectures, and trained students across the country.

At university, I helped launch the first-ever Hult Prize competition at the University of Gondar, promoting social entrepreneurship and innovation. I’ve also represented Ethiopian youth in international workshops in Poland, spoken on volunteering and youth development, and contributed to national events like World Youth Skills Day and career expos.

At the height of the pandemic, I found a new home for my cat on Facebook Marketplace, not for profit, but out of sheer necessity. Turns out, I was allergic. But that itchy-eyed moment sparked something unexpectedly brilliant: I realized how digital platforms could transform curiosity into connection & content into conversion.
