Start your IPC (Interm Professional Certification)/ TWINS application about 8 weeks before you graduate from your B.Ed program.
Once you submit all of your documents are in, you will receive a “pre-certification letter”

Letter will indicate that your IPC will be issued once the letter from the Dean is in

TWINS CHECKLIST
Deans recommendation - will be sent by the Dean. Students do not need to submit the final dean's letter. This is done by the dean themselves.
Criminal Record Check - Current original Criminal Record Check that includes a vulnerable sector check (VS); one that has been done within the last six months (Photocopy Not Acceptable)
Edmonton Police Service (EPS) criminal record checks can be requested online and once you receive your document, it can be submitted by forwarding the email with the password for the protected document.

IMPORTANT NOTE!! - if you are not from Edmonton and/or Alberta, you may have a different process to achieving your criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Birth Certificate - Photocopy of a government-issued birth certificate.
Application Form - Signed application form
Application Fee - $200 fee
