I found EdCamp to be a very unique and rewarding experience. My goal was to walk into this conference and leave with at least one usable idea, I feel that I have exceeded my goal since I was able to leave with several ideas, contacts with other educators, and resources that I can utilize, not to mention access to all of the session on the Conference Google Docs that was shared with us. This conference was about teachers teaching teachers and gathering all of our knowledge into one area to share out. This was a great conference and one I look forward to participating in it again. --Rachel Craig, Jerome Middle School
How many PD events provide info that the participants hand-select, and have the choice to attend. It was all about US – what we wanted to learn more about, what we had to offer, and what questions and concerns each of us had. That certainly built up the feeling of ownership and energy. The atmosphere of the group was sensational throughout the day! --Kelly Cross, Boise State University
What a great experience! It was really useful to sit with groups of principals and teachers to brainstorm on specific ways to improve teaching and the classroom experience for students. I loved the fact that we chose what we were interested in and what we needed. I love the fact that I came away with so many resources, the greatest being new friends and colleagues from across the state. I am looking forward to coming again next year! --Tonya Simms
Thank you for a great Edcamp. I really enjoyed the unconference feel and the ability to move freely to meet my needs. --Jill Clark, Blaine County School District
