The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy has collaborated with the Center for Leadership & Involvement (CfLI) on campus to develop the UW-Madison Pharmacy Leadership Certificate and Mentor Program for PharmD students. This is a non-credit certificate.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy has collaborated with the Center for Leadership & Involvement (CfLI) on campus to develop the UW-Madison Pharmacy Leadership Certificate and Mentor Program for PharmD students. This is a non-credit certificate.
The Leadership Certificate and Mentor Program is grounded in the belief that all individuals have inherent leadership potential. The program provides an opportunity for tremendous personal and professional growth through self-reflection and incorporation of essential leadership competencies and values. Within the School of Pharmacy, the leadership certificate program strives to apply these leadership competencies and values directly to pharmacy practice, with the goal of developing effective clinical pharmacy leaders. As a participant of this program, you will have unparalleled leadership exploration opportunities, with a focus on professional involvement, education, self-reflection, and mentorship.

The program was piloted in Fall if 2017 with 32 DPH-2 pharmacy students and 32 pharmacist mentors from across the state of Wisconsin.
