Provianda Santa Marta

The establishment of the Santa Marta provianda is a complex of industrial archaeology located in the center of Verona. It was designed by the Austrian k.k. Genie-Direktion Verona and built between 1863 and 1865. Originally intended for the production of bread and biscuits and the storage of other essential goods, since 2015, it has housed the economics departments of the University of Verona.

By flight: Verona Airport (VRN) is the closest to the venue. Other nearby airports, in order of closeness, are the ones of Bologna (BLQ), Venice (VCE), Treviso (TSF), Milano Bergamo (BGY), Milano Linate (LIN) and Milano Malpensa (MXP).


By train: Verona Porta Nuova is the best-served railway station close to the venue.


Airport shuttle: The Verona Airlink Porta Nuova Station - Catullo Airport service connects the Verona Porta Nuova railway station with Verona airport in 15 minutes. From Verona Porta Nuova station, the first ride is at 5:15 am, then at 6:10 am and every 20 minutes until 8:50 pm. From Verona airport, the first ride is at 5:35 am, then at 6:30 am and every 20 minutes until 9:30 pm. Tickets (6 €) can be purchased in the airport ticket office, using a ticket machine at the shuttle stop, or directly onboard.

BUS lines: From the train station of Verona Porta Nuova the venue can be reached using the main lines n° 11, 12, 13, 51 and 52, getting off at the second stop in Via XX Settembre. Urban tickets can be purchased in ticket offices inside the train station (1.30 €) or onboard via the automatic vending machine (2 €).
