Therese Nilsson is Professor at the Department of Economics of Lund University and the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN). She also serves as an Academic Programme Advisor for the Trade Policy Training Institute in Africa (trapca). 

Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of health and education economics, with additional work in cultural and institutional economics.
