Consider the Following before you Book

1. Have in mind which module you would like to book and the approximate number of students you are bringing. We will ask you to confirm your numbers approximately one week before your trip via email.

2. What dates can I choose that do not coincide with testing, dances, sporting events, and other school activities that will limit student participation? Keep a school calendar handy to refer to when selecting your field trip and double-check with your school admin that the date is clear for your field trip.

3. Will my school allow for an 8:45 am ARRIVAL time at the Safari Park? If not, consider booking only the afternoon lab.

4. Alternatively, will my school allow for a 2:45 pm DEPARTURE time at the Safari Park? If not, consider booking only the morning lab.

5. Do I have any students or parents that will need to depart from the Safari Park early? If so, please have these students/chaperones attend the MORNING lab only. Please keep in mind that our facility is closed to the public which means any person coming to or leaving the building will REQUIRE an employee escort.

6. Can I achieve the chaperone numbers between 1:10 and 1:5 for chaperone:student counts?

How to use our live booking system: YouCanBookMe

• All requests are first come first served. Dates cannot be held via emails or phone calls.

• Choose dates using the live calendar. Keep in mind we run during the regular school year (September through June) on Tuesdays through Fridays

• Note we open the FALL dates first to ensure they fill up, then we will open the SPRING dates.

• Each booking is only for ONE time slot. If you want the morning and afternoon, you need to book both time slots.

• Please have a different credentialed teacher listed for the morning and afternoon so they have time to eat lunch, with appropriate cell phones contacts.
