He is the founder of EcoVentures Vietnam with more than 5 years of experience teaching life skills and survival skills in Vietnam. He also has more than 2 years of experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum at international schools in Vietnam.
He has loved and practiced photography since his teenage years. He has over 10 years of experience organising and leading expeditions across Africa, the Arctic, and Vietnam. He also has more than 3 years of experience as a tour leader with Africa in Focus, leading photography safaris and exploration journeys throughout Africa.
Duc Nguyen is a freelance photographer who focuses on capturing travel stories and everyday moments, reflecting authentic life, culture, and human connection.
His work has been recognised as one of the Top 70 photographs in the UNESCO “Youth Eye on the Silk Roads” competition in 2019, and received an Honourable Mention in 2020. Both works were exhibited at UNESCO Headquarters in France.
In addition, Duc has collaborated with Four Paws International, with his images used as key visual content for animal rescue campaigns across Asia. He is also a contributing photographer to international publications such as Business Insider, Adventure.com, and Hidden Compass. He has also had the opportunity to work alongside National Geographic photographer Catherine Karnow during her workshops in Vietnam.
Since 2017, Duc has combined his passion for travel and culture by working as a Photo Guide in Vietnam, sharing the beauty of his home country through his personal perspective. He has over five years of experience working with international workshops at Vietnam in Focus, guiding and collaborating with photographers from around the world.
She has nearly 10 years of experience working as a professional visual producer in Vietnam. She has collaborated with international publications and organisations — including The New York Times, National Geographic, Human Rights in Pictures, and Al Jazeera — as well as international independent photographers and filmmakers, working as a producer and assistant on photography and filmmaking projects throughout Vietnam.
She has also worked with photographer David Hobby and X-Peditions as a producer and organiser for his photography workshops in Vietnam for many years.
