Extension activities-2019-20

Youth Economic Society (YES Club) is an extension activity introduced by Department of Economics.This activity gives an opportunity to expand students thinking ability and interest.

Activities

· Students conducted an awareness program on Avoidance of Plastic usage. They created social awareness about plastic avoidance at Thiruvallur district

· To encourage Entrepreneurship skills, students participated in various exhibitions by selling hand made products

· To Kindle entrepreneurdhip capabilities students conducted food exhibition in the campus by selling self made food items

· Under the initiative of yes club, students conducted Pongal celebrations in the campus

· Model building competition was conducted for the benefits of students to explore their inherent talents.and was judged by faculties from city colleges

· During Pandemic situation, online competition on slogan writing about Fighting against corona was conducted on 16.5.20

· Poster design competition was held on 1.5.2020 on the topic Fight against COVID 19
