About the department :
The Department of Economics, Malda College has long been recognised as one of the best and well established departments of Malda College. The Honours Course of this Department started functioning since 1962. Our faculty`s accomplishment in teaching are well established. The Department has been serving the people of Malda and the neighbouring districts and has maintained an excellent standard of education which is reflected by the list of its alumni.
