Reunion 2019
The first Reunion of the department of Economics was held on 20/01/2019 in the Seminar Gallery of Malda College. More than 125 Alumni participated in the over expected Reunion function. Important Alumni participated in the reunion were Prof. Shib Ranjan Misra (Ex Professor of Visva Bharati University), Prof Kanak Kanti Bagchi (HOD, NBU), Prof. Abdur Razzque (Ex-Principal, Kaliachak College), Prof Subrata Saha,(Associate Professor, Raiganj University, Sri Sudip Basu ( BDO), and so on.
The function was extremely enjoyable and memorable for all alumni. Some remarkable pictures of that day are presented here.
Commemoration of Ex Principal, J. N. Bagchi
The Ex- Principal of Malda College Prof. Jitendra Nath Bagchi died on 12/04/2019. He joined the Department of Economics of Mlada College as a Professor in 1967. Prof. Bagchi was the Principal of Malda College from 10/11/1986 to 20/02/2004. His commemoration was held on 20/05/2019 in the Sanaullah Manch. The Alumni group of Economics department of Malda College organised the remembrance function. As a whole the function was very remarkable.

করোনা অভিঘাত ও উত্তরণের পথ
নিয়ে আলোচনার আয়োজন করেছিলেন মালদা কলেজের অর্থনীতি বিভাগ এবং অর্থনীতি বিভাগের প্রাক্তনীরা। ২৪ আগস্ট, ২০২০, বিকাল ৫টায় আলোচনা উদবোধন করেন মালদা কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ ড. মানস কুমার বৈদ্য। সঞ্চালনা করেন অর্থনীতি বিভাগের অধ্যাপক প্রভাস চৌধুরী।
বক্তারা সকলেই মালদা কলেজের অর্থনীতি বিভাগের প্রাক্তন ছাত্র। বিকেল ৫টায় গুগুল মীটে আলোচনা শুরু হয়। চলে প্রায় রাত ৯টা অব্দি।
