2/3s of our attendees were young people, with lots of supporting adults. 78 people responded to our post event survey, of whom 2/3s were young people. Our survey was reflective of the number of people who attended. Here are some of the snapshots of what people learned followed by some more in depth responses.
This chart was created using data from our feedback spreadsheet. Adults and young people responded to this form. We are pleased that two thirds of the respondents have said they now want to take climate action after our event. We also asked what kind of climate action they were thinking about. Responses include:
“Be more sustainable in my fashion.”
“Planting my own food and using more sustainable methods throughout my lifestyle.”
“On a basic level I need to be more aware of car use for short journeys and home recycling. However, I need to continue to educate myself on worldwide climate issues.”
“speaking to more people about the work they’re doing to increase passion for the environment and inspiration.”
“Growing my own fruit and veg.”
“Focus on rebuilding natural habitats for animals.”
These responses are encouraging for the future and show us that our event had a large impact on the majority of people who attended.
