He was fun and engaging. Very adaptive for students needs. Always offered help and assistance when needed. Offered review sessions before the exams and tailored them towards student's needs.
Loved this teacher, he was able to make class interesting. He was very good at explaining lectures and keeping students engaged. Would definitely recommend this professor.
Was the best instructor I've had for an Econ course. I usually struggle with the conceptual side of Econ but the instructor was able to present and explain the information in a much more effective way than I have seen someone do before.

Professor Axelrod is really good at answering questions and teaching complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. It is particularly helpful that he teaches using a whiteboard instead of a PowerPoint presentation.
Really loved the energy and enthusiasm to teach this class. Appreciated the instructor's patience and support to students.
Matias is a wonderful teacher. He is truly the best instructor I have had at all my time at MSU [...] He's so energetic and truly wants us to do our best and understand the concepts fully

Professor Del Campo is a fantastic teacher of the course content. His detailed explanations have proven to be effective in my learning and he is very good at engaging his students with the content, requirements and expectations for class exams
Matias is an outstanding fit for this class as he understands his students and does a really good job of teaching the material that is important as well as being fair and honest with everyone.
Prof. Matias did a really good job within his lectures and explaining the difficult material. I benefited and learned a lot from his organization within his lectures and the homework problems that correlated with the midterms and finals.

Easily the best professor, and math teacher, I've ever had. Made math actually enjoyable for me again. An all around great experience. I liked taking his class.
The professor was very helpful. Probably one of the best professors I have had this semester. I enjoyed coming to class. He made the learning experience fun and enjoyable by connecting with us on a level which we can take our time to process the information while having a great time. It’s sad that he won’t be my professor again. If I were to grade his teaching experience I would give it an A+.
The teacher made sure to relate our concepts to real life examples and provided examples that forced us to think critically and really understand the concepts he was teaching, not just memorize random formulas.
