Tips for Success
How you define success may vary: earning an A grade, passing the course, learning new skills, etc. Whatever your definition, I encourage you to push yourself! Set goals and make a plan! Hopefully the following will give you some good guidelines for achieving your goals:
Create a dedicated time for this course each week, at least twice per week.
Schedule yourself "class time" and "study time" and put them in your calendar and set reminders.
Read the Canvas pages, watch the mini lecture videos, and take notes as you would in a face-to-face course.
Complete all assignments as they are due. If you happen to fall behind, reach out to me (I'm here to help!) and work diligently to catch back up.
Visit the virtual Office Hours anytime you have questions or would like further clarification (I'm really here to help you succeed!).
Check your Palomar email multiple times each week. Important campus announcements are sent to your email.
Make a note of any questions you have during your studies, and email me or visit my Office Hours. I'm happy to setup other times too!
Have questions that weren't answered here? Please feel free to email me anytime and let me know how I can help!
