Activities & Mobilities
The global community is confronted with an unparalleled crisis: the climate emergency. Unlike other challenges, this crisis knows no borders or generational divides; it affects all of humanity. Climate change is a pressing issue that doesn't just impact our future; it's altering our present and endangering the delicate equilibrium of our planet. Our mission is to equip students with ecological literacy, a vital skillset for understanding and addressing these complex environmental issues.
This project is SMART because it has Specific goals focused on ecological education, Measurable outcomes such as ecoliteracy and digital outputs, Achievable through planned activities and collaborations, Relevant to environmental concerns and Sustainable development, and Time-bound with clear deadlines for activities and reporting, ensuring effective implementation and impact.

Teachers´ training-Workshop. TAVO Lithuania
The Teachers´Training meeting held in Lithuania was organised by TAVO. "ECO-STEM workshop" kicked off in Vilnius (LT). The event brought together 8 participants from the four different participating countries, all actively engaged in the field of ecology, sustainability and technology applied to the educational goals.
On the first day, participants explored the concept of STEM methodology, brainstorming about topics to be developed in each local context and each school framework and the opportunities offered by the European programmes. Through dynamic sessions, teachers and facilitators reflected on the key aspects of technology applied to ecological sustainability actions within the school.
The second session was devoted to outdoor learning and developing competences linked to ecological didactics and on-site approach to the way STEM is applied in nature conservation. A vsist to the botanical garden and Vilna ecological projects were aimed to raise awareness on the green agenda for the students, providing a valuable space for participants to present their work, build connections, exchange ideas, and sow the seeds for coming collaborations.
The last day of the meeting was designed to strengthen participants' competences in supporting young people to develop impactful ideas and using tools such "Energy 3D/Science on stage website/Teaching materials" (https://www.science-on-stage.eu/teachingmaterials) or Micro.bit (https://microbit.org/) and designing lessons devoted to STEM and ecological issues
