STEM racing is an educational approach that combines the excitement of racing with the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). It engages students in hands-on, project-based learning where they design, build, and sometimes program small-scale race cars or vehicles. These activities encourage critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation. STEM racing can involve a variety of formats, such as CO2-powered dragsters, electric or solar-powered cars, or even virtual simulations. By applying real-world physics, engineering concepts, and data analysis, students gain a deeper understanding of how STEM plays a role in modern technology and motorsports. It’s a fun and dynamic way to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators.
