Ward Historian Introduction
There is so much that we have to be grateful to the Lord. He has done so much to bless us this year. This includes special events and spiritual experiences. We as a ward have the tremendous blessing of working with each other as individuals and as families. One way we can show our gratitude to the Lord is to keep a history.
President Henry B. Eyring has encouraged Church members “to find ways to recognize and remember God’s kindness. It will build our testimonies. . . . You and they will be blessed as you remember what the Lord has done”
As you reflect back on how much the Lord has blessed you and your family this year and you decide you would like to include this experience in the Ward History please fill out this form and send it to the Ward Historian (Benjamin Elsmore).
Each leader in their responsibility is asked to send a History of each event that was held this year, but it is not limited to the leaders who can submit events and experiences, individuals and families can submit as well. This can be as simple as a paragraph explaining what happened to photos and flyers to the events. (Remember that all photos and documents submitted are property of the Church and the Church may use them as they see fit in remembrance of these historical records.)
