Mission: The goal of this virtual program is to give high school students an opportunity to learn about what pursuing an ECE degree encompasses, the different focus areas within ECE, and the types of jobs and opportunities available to those who pursue an ECE degree.
Program Structure:
ECHO Condensed 2021/22 is a one day, 3-hour long interactive Zoom session on January 8th, 2022.
The session will consist of:
a welcome address given by a faculty member of the Duke ECE program
a poster session where students can learn from current undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and staff about their research, internships, jobs, projects, or other relevant experiences within ECE
lab tours and experiment demonstrations of current Duke ECE labs
and a closing remarks that includes plenty of time for questions

There is no formal application!
All high school students must register and complete the program agreement form. This form will be sent in December to those who registered.
ECHO condensed is one day only.
This program is completely virtual.

There is no fee to apply or attend.
The mission is the same, and we continue to focus on encouraging high school students to consider careers and majors in ECE.
