Overview

Our goal for the F1 Gearbox Simulator is to simulate the steering wheel display found on F1 racecars. The user will be able to provide a throttle input, which provides a realistic response in the form of a simulated change in Revs per Minute (RPM). A button will act as the shifter, allowing the user to change up to the 8th gear. The LED display will show the user what gear they are in and will visualize the current RPM using the topmost LEDs. The device connected through Bluetooth will also display the precise RPM of the simulated racecar.
