Building Updates & Capital Campaign

The old building is down and construction on the new community center and apartments has begun!  Demolition happened in November and foundation work has started.  The hope is to start framing the buildings in late January-February 2026.  Both buildings will be constructed at the same time, offering cost savings and an expedient timeline for completion which is still projected to be late 2026. We have a tight budget on these buildings but are also hoping to add as many sustainability and energy-efficient features as we can, including solar!

As the construction is beginning on the triangle, we are working hard on finishing landscaping and interior design work, solar options, funding for the project and community partnerships.  If you have any connections to individuals or local businesses that may be interested in partnering, or supporting, this project please don’t hesitate to have them contact our Co-Director, Staci, at staci@eastmorlandcommunitycenter.org

We have raised over 50% of our $1.5M Capital Campaign, since it began in Spring of 2025!  Nearly 150 community donors have supported this campaign, which will provide funds to finish the community center building and continue to develop the community center non-profit.
