I called ebay asking them what is the difference between ebay.ca and ebay.com, what is the advantage of either one? They said they are 100% the same but could not tell me why then there is a .ca and a .com.

Right now i'm trying to sell clothes on ebay.ca but the shipping fees are crazy(anywhere between $10 -$20), i'm thinking of just listing everything on ebay.com as i can get much cheaper shipping costs from there to the US market and i don't think people in canada are gonna wanna pay $10 - $15 for clothing + another $10 - $20 for shipping!

I'm curious does where you list the item play a role in the visibility? If the buyer doesn't play with the filters if i post on ebay.ca will my items have more visibility on the canaidan market? OR if i list on ebay.com will it be more visible for the US market? or is it all the same?

Oh ok so i guess there isn't a point for me to move my items to ebay.com then. I still don't see why ebay would make 2 different sites then since regardless of your location you will still see the item with your currency but i guess they have their reasons. 2351a5e196
