For this year Valentine's (2023), our Home Garden Network (HGN) program hosted Ikebana, a Japanese flower arrangement, workshop for community members to come together to learn how to prepare a flower jar. They can make one for themselves and one for a community organization that serves adults thriving for mental wellness--Mental Health Kokua, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The event was organized and guided by two student interns for the HGN program, Jamie Fujii and Emma Castro. Click here for News Story.Â
