Remitting Taxes to the Server
In order to remit, you must have an Exaroton account. You will need to share your username with us, which you can do by filling out Pre-Form D with the BIRS. Once you've done so, if you owe any obligations of taxes, we will notify you how to remit to the server.
Refunds, Overpayments and Underpayments
At this time, we cannot refund overpayments and underpayments. If you overpay, you can let the Comptroller's Office know and we will allow you to use excess funds for the next cycle. If you underpay, we will send you a notice, but payment is not required. However, continuously underpaying may result in disciplinary action.
Financial Hardship Waiver
The Comptroller's Office can cover your taxes if you are experiencing financial hardship. Just let us know, and we can help. You are still required to file taxes, but we will evaluate your hardship case-by-case, and assist you.
