The induction heating system with shrink grip and shrink release capability covers 3 to 32 mm for carbide and heavy metal, and 6 to 32 mm for steel and HSS. Induction heating achieves shrink grip and shrink release in a few seconds. Multiple cooling solutions are available to quickly cool the toolholder via a controlled process that will avoid damaging the toolholder.

Can anyone suggest how I can achieve this affect from Storyline itself? Or is there a quick easy way to convert my Storyline slide into PPT, apply the shrink effect and motion path and then re-import to Storyline?

This is an older post, did you get it resolved Emily?

I am working on a course now, with similar requirement, and found it quite easy.

Add an exit animation of shrink, along with a motion path. they will work together, and quite well actually.

Is there a better option than paying $20 for Partition Magic to safely and relatively easily shrink my Windows partition? I have 140G capacity and around 95G free, but only 24G can be freed up because of unmovable files. I already defragmented, but the unmovable files are scattered all over.

PerfectDisk (free 30-day trial, $30 retail) can defrag otherwise "unmoveable files," since it can run after a reboot (i.e. before Windows can lock the files again). After it completely defragments your drive, you should be able to shrink your partition as desired.

Boiled eggs are easy to cook, but may not be so easy to peel. When eggs are freshly laid, they are slightly acidic which makes the shell stick tightly to the albumin in the egg white and impossible to peel cleanly. The hen covers her eggs with a protective coating as they are laid which keeps this acidic level intact and the egg fresh outside the fridge for 10 days.

Commercial eggs have the protective coating washed off. This allows the natural CO2 trapped in the egg to dissipate through the porous shell reducing the acidity and the stickiness of the shell. Commercial eggs will ripen in the refrigerator to be easy to peel in about 10 days. By the time they reach our homes commercial eggs are typically perfectly ripe.

Angela,

I like to take my hard boiled eggs and run them under cold water then I put them in a jar with water and shake it. It cracks the egg and it peels really easy. Best method I have found yet. ? Thanks for your idea I will try it.

I just noticed from a recent post that most people dry shrink on all vehicles. I have tried it, and can do it but prefer the wet shrink method. I was just wondering if there is a benefit to dry shrinking on some cars? I was taught how to wet shrink everything and I haven't ran across a car that I can't get done by wet shrinking. I am wondering if I am making it harder on myself by wet shrinking instead of dry shrinking on some backglasses?

I find that some cars that have more of a curved glass, its faster to dry shrink it bc u can shrink bigger areas at a time. when I dry shrink, I basically divide the glass into 4 pieces like a cross. then heat each 1/4 at a time. some small glasses ex...malibu, ion, ect...are done quick as wet. I wouldnt say that you are making it harder on yourself doin it wet. up till a year ago when I started using global, I wet shrank 100% all back glass's. but thats not so easy with global. I can deff dry shrink any back glass with global than wet shrink the same back glass with any other film.

dude once you learn dry shrink you'll never turn back. I don't wet shrink anything except maybe some flat suv back glass that only pops a few fingers. I wet shrunk everything for the first year or so of learning the trade, after talking with danny desanto (FTI) about shrinking methods I began to dry shrink & never looked back. How do you wet shrink a 04 stratus 2dr I think I'd be there for atleast 30 minutes as opposed to 5 minutes.

04 stratus and all the other bitch back windows. including the intrepids, vettes, bugs,ect...... ..all were dont wet. yea I took a lil longer, but it got done. thats all I knew back then. now that I do dry, I dont know if I could wet shrink a back glass anymore. its so damn easy and requires so less concentration and time. its just the smarter thing to do.

wet shrinking puts more stress on smaller areas. Dry shrinking lets you shrink more area and puts less stress. Less puckers and places popping back up when dry. I also have found that the bit of water that is on the film will pull heat away from wherever there are drops.....makes the film get heated up uneven.....

dryshrink method allows for great time savings it just shrinks so darn quick and flawlessly. Its really hard to screw things up with a good dryshrink on most normal flat back glass's.. they just shrink so smooth and quickly.

are you smoothing the film as you shrink it dry? You should be able to shrink it down with a dry shrink and not have to touch the film. You just have to see the film moving to know when it is laying down and move on.

Of course, another requirement is to remember slipping the heat shrink tube over the wire before crimping on the lug. Another great article! I had no idea clear heat shrink tubing was even available and I certainly know of any that would be compatible with a Brother label maker.

Clearly you have years of experience and a lot of us cruisers rely on the HF modems you distribute in the US. I like the professional capability of the label printer you refer to. What is news to me is the failure of heat shrink labels over time. Gives me pause.

It is less expensive an easier to make a label on your label maker in the usual way, and then use clear shrink tubing to hold the traditional label in place. The label is then double protected and special cassetts are not needed.

It is possible the heat shrink label tech has changed, but I can say for sure 10 to 20 year old labels printed directly on heat shrink stock fade and flake off. This is what drove us to a more permanent solution.

I moved to a new company recently wherein they have 2 databases in a SQL server of size 20-25 GB. I'm unable to shrink the log file of the databases.

Transaction log backup of the databases are set to run every 30 mins from 6 AM-7PM.

They are of size 10 and 2 Gb respectively.

I tried to shrink it around 8-9 PM last night but I was not able to do.

Even after changing recovery model to simple check if any lock was there on the object own by database for which you want to shrink the log file, i have face similar issue not able to shrink the log file even after changing recovery model simple, once i release the lock i was able to shrink the log file.

I don't know much about heat shrink tubing but what I received from Amazon has a harder surface, thus slippier than the paint on the handle. The diameter is slightly larger but not enough to improve the grip.

Shrinktape is applied to your shrink film with a Shrinktape applicator. This machinery is an add-on for your current shrink packaging equipment. The Shrinktape applicator is mounted between the film unwinding module and the product wrapping area of your shrink wrapper.

They are practically identical. Except, the easy-peel aspect for shrinktape is from the tab created by the applicator. In contrast, the easy-peel aspect for peelwrap is created by the non-adhesive section pulling away from the perforated portion of the material.

As for why someone would choose one over the other, peelwrap and shrinktape can both be used with shrink film, but, unlike shrinktape, peelwrap can also be used for some non-shrink film material applications. 0852c4b9a8
