East Stroudsburg Delta Chi was founded on February 27th, 2006 and we became a Nationally recognized (Chartered) Chapter on January 23rd, 2010. Our Fraternity follows four core values, Promoting Friendship, Developing Character, Advancing justice, and Assisting in the Acquisition of a Sound Education. We take pride in our community service, philanthropy, and our brotherhood. Our Philanthropy is the Jimmy V Foundation, We host annual philanthropy events liked Shave-A-Delta and Dye-A-Chi; Where the Brothers will shave or dye their heads after we reach a set amount goal! We participate in things like Relay for Life and actively do Street Cleans for Community Service.
Delta Chi (ΔΧ) (del-ta kai) or D-Chi is an international Greek letter college social fraternity formed on October 13, 1890, at Cornell University, initially as a professional fraternity for law students. On April 29, 1922, Delta Chi became a general membership social fraternity, eliminating the requirement for men to be studying law and opening membership to all areas of study. On April 22, 1929, Delta Chi became the first international fraternity to abolish "hell week". Delta Chi is a charter member of the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The Fraternity is headquartered at 314 Church Street in Iowa City, Iowa 52244. As of Spring 2018, Delta Chi has initiated over 115,000 members.
