Music is a vital part of our ministry and our worship experience at Eastside Baptist Church. Music, has always been the link and a common connection as the people of God.

It is our pleasure to introduce Rev. Maggie Andre', who has received recommendation from the Search Committee and voted on today by our congregation to serve as our next Minister of Music and Education.

Rev. Maggie understands the vital role of music, especially singing, in offering praise and prayer, proclaiming the Word of God, and connecting God’s people. Rev. Maggie has served as an Associate Pastor of Worship and Music, at Grove Park Baptist Church and Associate Pastor of Music and Adult Ministries, Kenansville Baptist Church.

Born in Portugal Rev. Maggie started singing in her dad's church at the young age of five. So nobody was surprised when Maggie felt the Lord calling her to serve at a young age. In her early teen years she moved to Canada and after completing her schooling she and her husband Dan followed Gods will to the States. Rev. Maggie plays the piano and guitar and has leader experience in contemporary, traditional, handbell, Youth, Mens, and Ladies ensembles, she is also a song writer and many other skills that will serve our church and community well. .

Rev. Maggie holds a BA in Christian Studies from Briercrest College and Seminary, Associate of Arts in Library Science from Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology and is currently perusing a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Grace Christian University.

She and her husband Dan has been married for 27 years and have three children, Julian, Emma, and Nathan. Rev. Maggie speaks four languages and has a strong faith and an obvious heart for Worship and Praising Jesus.
