The registration fee includes one (1) person to the four-day conference (keynote addresses, technical sessions and visits, Gala Dinner, and Farewell Dinner), and a conference certificate.
An Accompanying Person is entitled to attend conference sessions and social tours only. Attendance to conference meals, Gala Dinner, and technical visits are subject to additional changes.
Registrations may not be transferred to anyone.
Only paying participants will be allowed access to the conference and receive conference certificates. Co-authors who wish to participate must register as attendees and pay the fee.
Once the registration fees are paid there will be no refunds.
Cancellation Policy
Confirmed registrants who do not participate or who make cancellations will forfeit. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. EASTS 2023 reserves the right to cancel any event if the minimum registration is not met. In the event of an EASTS 2023 cancellation, all registration fees will be refunded.
No-Show Policy
Acceptable papers must be presented at EASTS 2023 by the authors or via proxy. In a paper is not presented at EASTS 2023, it shall be deemed a "no-show". No-shows will be removed from post-conference distribution and will not be available on open-access publications.
Exceptions to this policy will be made in rare and unusual situations by the Organising Committee only if there is evidence that the no-show occurred because of unanticipated events beyond the control of the authors, and that every option available to the authors to present the paper was exhausted.
Authors of no-show papers wishing to appeal the no-show status of their paper must appeal by email to the Organising Committee no later than 14 days after the start of EASTS 2023 and must provide evidence to convincingly demonstrate that their absence was as a result of forces beyond their will and control, or that an erroneous decision was made.
The Organising Committee will make decisions on appeals based on the supporting evidence provided. Failure to meet the appeals deadline will automatically result in the rejection of the appeal. Possible evidence for exceptions includes medical documents, death notices, and other official documents supporting the appeal.
