This site is primarily for families of the Eastern Suburbs Branch of the Academy to provide you with relevant information regarding commencing drama classes and to keep you up to date during the year.
As you may be aware, the programme we offer in the Academy is one of self-development. Our prime aim is to give children on-going confidence and skill in verbal communication.
To begin, please scroll down & read information on the HOME PAGE first.
Home Page: here you will find general information that relates to all Studios including: enrolment information, costs, the most recent Newsletter, our "Refer a Friend" form, plus a general overview of what we do in class for each age group.
The Studio your child will be attending is located at the top of the Home Page. Here you will find specific information relating to your child's class at that location which is updated as applicable during the year.
If you have a question or need further information, please contact Principal, Merylena Sulak directly, so that she can upload the answer directly to your applicable Studio.

How to Navigate this site:
If you are looking at this website on a mobile phone, the Studio Tabs (names) will be just three small lines located at the top left hand corner of the Home Page - tap there & it will open the tabs for the Studios – click on your child's Studio.
If you are on a Tablet, a couple of Studio Tabs (names) only will be written across the top of the screen on the Home Page and then there will be an arrow with the word MORE next to it. Click on the word MORE to extend the list of Studio names as needed.
If you are on a computer the Studio Tabs (names) will be written across the top of the screen on the Home Page.

2026 TERM DATES
TERM 2: Monday 27 April – Saturday 4 July – 10 weeks
TERM 3: Friday 17 July – Saturday 26 September – 10 weeks (11 lessons)
Term 3 NOTES:
Mid-Year Rehearsal (Lesson 11) & Performances for ALL STUDIOS will be held on Saturday 19th September 2026 at the Morley Sport & Recreation Centre (MSRC)
There will be NO CLASSES HELD on Friday 18th September 2026 at our Kalamunda Studio. This date is allocated for hall set up at the MSRC for Mid-Year Performances held the next day.
TERM 4: Monday 12 October – Saturday 12 December – 9 weeks
Term 3, 2026 MID-YEAR PERFORMANCES

Classes are filling fast...if you are a currently enrolled student, don't end up on the Waiting List..! :)))
A reminder to finalise your Term 3 Xero Invoice BEFORE the end of Term 2
to complete registration and secure your child's place in class for our Term 3 Mid-Year Performances.
(Invoices have already been emailed to all currently enrolled students. Please contact the office if you have not received yours.)

Term 3 is an 11 lesson term (10 weeks) for all Studios:
This includes a lesson held on the same day as Mid-Year Performances for Technical Rehearsal, held at the Morley Sport & Recreation Centre. This aims to familiarise students with; staging, last bits of costuming, meeting staff who assist on the day plus final run through before they perform for families and friends!
(Specific details & information for the day of our Performance will be in the Term 3 Newsletter to come.)
Term 3, 2026 runs from Friday 17th July – Saturday 26th September (10 weeks / 11 lessons)

Once your enrolment has been finalised, you are welcome to join our Private Facebook Group which is aimed at keeping our Eastern Suburbs families up to date with news and information about Drama Classes for the term.
"The Buddy System"
for Newly Enrolled Students
As parents do not stay during the class, your child/ren will be introduced to a buddy for their first session so that new students have an ‘instant friend’ to look after them during the lesson. This gives new students the opportunity to learn a new skill straight away by meeting someone new!

Term 4, 2025 Certificate List
(Current as of: Mon 3rd December 2025 - Wk4, Term 4)
For every full year attended, our students receive an Achievement Certificate presented at the end of Term 4. The attached list indicated students who are due to receive their certificate during our 'Term 4 Family Fun session' held in class.
Recently enrolled students received a 'Special Certificate' to acknowledge their contribution to class.
If for any reason you believe your child should be receiving an Achievement Certificate this year, and his or her name is not on the list, or your child's name is spelt incorrectly, please contact our office, immediately!
