This project will be funded by the District’s Special Building Fund, which currently has sufficient reserves to support the planned improvements. The project will be completed within the District’s existing tax structure, maintaining the current levy rate of approximately $0.63 per $100 of assessed valuation, with no increase or additional impact to taxpayers.

Assessed value does not equal market value. Assessed value is determined by the county assessor and is the calculation used to determine taxable value, i.e., property taxes due.
