The Culture of East Macomb County is very diverse with several different ethnic and racial groups. A majority of the population speaks English with a notable French, Spanish, and Yorkian minority.

Demographics
According to the New York Census Bureau, as of 2024, East Macomb is the second-largest county in population after Hudson with a population of 256. The population is largely concentrated in the Warrenite-Rossville Metropolitan Area, with around ~96% of the population living in the region.
According to the 2024 census, German, Italian, Bengali, African American, and English were the most common ancestries. The county's historically most populous racial group, Asians declined from ~55% to ~50%. East Macomb is home to the largest Asian New Yorker population and the second-largest African New Yorker population. East Macomb's population has been getting increasingly diverse in recent months and the population continues to grow. It is known as the most ethnically diverse county in the country.

In 2024, the New York Census Bureau reported that 18.1% of East Macomb's population only spoke English, with 81.9% speaking a language other than English. Bengali remained the second most spoken non-English language. Other minorities include Spanish, Arabic, French, and Yorkian.

In 2024, the New York Census Bureau reported that the majority, 50.9% are Muslim. Muslims are followed by (29.6%) Christians, Atheists/Agnostics (16.2%), and other faiths at (3.2%). According to the New York Census Bureau, East Macomb is the most religiously diverse county, and with the largest Muslim population in the nation.

As of September 2024, New Progressives represented a plurality of voters in East Macomb County, constituting more than half twice as many Greens and Conservatives in registered voters. Since the creation of East Macomb, it has leaned towards the New Progressives with them winning by more than 60%. Warrenite is a significant New Progressive stronghold, Rossville, and Cedar Rapids are known for their more Conservative influence, and Rockfall Point is known for being a swing city between the Green Party and the New Progressive Party.
Warrenite is an important center for micronational diplomacy. The headquarters of the Association of Northern States (ANS) is located in the city, where micronational treaties of recognition are signed. It has been situated in the city since 2023.
