There are a number of services that you can access at NEKWMD
(NorthEast Kingdom Waste Management District)
Recycling - (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8:00-4:00; closes at 3:00 on Saturdays) for all residents of the region if you would like the convenience of days other than Saturdays in East Haven.
Scrap Metal
Hazardous Materials - disposal by appointment or on set collection drop-in days (see their website for these dates and all of their services) https://www.nekwmd.org/
Appliances and TV disposal
Fast Trash is serviced by Got Trash. They open at 8:00 on the mornings of Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and will remain open until noon or 2:00. Many times they stop collecting bags early when they fill up. Please check their Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/havetrash/ )for updates as they are very active there and keep people well informed.
