11/26/2025- Starting this Saturday; Trash service by the bag is returning to East Haven. 8AM to Noontime at the recycling center. Trevor Johnson is our new Trash hauler and is excited to start. Thank you Trevor and also a big thank you to Steve Gadapee for keeping our recycling center open while we waited to get a new trash hauler.

11/13/2025- Sunday December 7, starting at 12:30, is our community holiday celebration with a Potluck Dinner, Wagon Rides 1:00-3:00, and ending with the lighting of our tree at the Community Building.
11/13/2025- The town of East Haven has a position on the Selectboard open for election this coming winter. Please file your indication of interest with the Town Clerk if you would like to run for this position and help our town.
10/16/2025- Taxes are due this Saturday 10/18 by NOONTIME.
10/14/2025- The recycling facility will be open Saturday 10/18/2025 8:00AM-Noon. This is our new time for the facility going forward for the next 3-6 months.
Information about East Haven
"The Development" is the name used for the block of roads including Maple, School, Haven and Cross.
Aqua Haven is our local water district in The Development.
We are part of the Essex North School District and our residents have School Choice as we do not have any schools in our town.
Dog registration/licensing is in April
We currently do not have town rubbish/trash service. Residents may call a service provider for curbside or they may pay, by-the-bag, at locally operated Fast Trash service locations. See below for more information on Fast Trash.
Moose Haven is the name for the East Haven portion of the Kingdom Trails network. Kingdom Trails and those riding the trails have permission granted to them by the town to park in the first dirt lot on Community Building Road. The rest of the space is for those accessing town property like the Recycling Facility, Community Building, basketball court, playground or pavilion.
The Community Building is available for rent. There have been many birthday parties, retirement parties, reunions, weddings, sports team practices and we even had a preschool as a long term renter. Please contact the Town Clerk if you are interested in renting the space.
