The List
(Advanced/Stargrinder)
(Advanced/Stargrinder)
Here's our section for stargrinders, or more experienced players. These levels have much more advanced gameplay (for example, modern gameplay mechanics or high cps gameplay) than the beginner section, but if you're experienced, they should be around the same difficulty as the levels in the beginner section.
'Draft Theory' is an incredibly engaging and flowy demon with great flashy visuals and sightreadable gameplay. The level retains a very simple style throughout, and although the level is a collab, the gameplay was made by only one member, so the gameplay remains incredibly consistent and enjoyable.
'NothinG' is an extremely straightforward modern/tech level, with some drawn out auto cutscenes and tricky ships. The hardest parts are definitely the ships, which are surprisingly difficult, but due to the short length and general straightforward nature of NothinG, we agree it should go on the list. Definitely a great level for beginner ship improvement.
'Uxinua' is a unique take on classic design, with very high CPS gameplay. Uxinua's gameplay is quite sync-based and orb heavy, which may be an acquired taste for some. Still, we agreed when this level is pulled off correctly, it gives an incredibly fun and satisfying experience.
'Guide Me' is an overall great level. It's got entertaining visuals, incredible atmosphere, and is really fun to play. It tests all gamemodes and has fairly advanced gameplay, so if you're experienced with the game, it's very sightreadable and shouldn't be that hard. Beating this level is a great (and fairly easy) experience that we'd recommend to everyone!
'Prisma' is a white and rainbow abstract modern level, with engaging visuals and interesting gameplay. Although the visuals are quite entertaining, the gameplay is a little finicky at times, and is honestly quite difficult. However, the reason why we put this on the list, is because of the extremely high density of invisible objects that correct the player, even if you're completely off course. With a practice run or two, we agreed this level is a breeze.
'Distal Corridor' is a level in a style reminiscent of Knots, so it's safe to say it's got very entertaining modern visuals. The gameplay is also pretty fun and straightforward, although we decided to put this in the advanced section due to the gameplay being slightly high input at times. However, if you've played the game for a while, it should be really sightreadable. There's plenty of things that correct your errors throughout the level, but these don't make the gameplay feel annoying or broken, which is surprisingly uncommon.
'Always Lying' is a fast paced and colorful modern/design level, with fantastic colors and perfectly synced gameplay. The visuals are both gloomy and flashing, with lots of cartoonish doodles and awesome technological designs. The gameplay is also incredibly fun, being very well synced to the music. Not to mention, this level is extremely short, clocking in at around 40 seconds. There's a few slightly more advanced gameplay gimmicks which is why we placed this on the advanced list, but this is still an incredibly easy demon we can't recommend more.
This is the end of the list so far, but we add levels fairly frequently, so stay tuned!
