Morty and Summer discussed worriedly. They did not know which was worse. They did not want to choose but they had no choice.
While the two were discussing what their choice would be Blim Blam began to think how he would transport these two humans to another dimension. He then remembered he had his trusty syringe that would suck the concious or mind of any creature. This would allow him to get their mind and insert it into another creature. So although their bodies might be different they will still act and think as their old body or self would.
Finally, after a few minutes, Morty said hesitantly, "The second option". Summer nodded in agreement. The two figured they would not survive long without their grandpa and therefore would be home quicker.
(But was this the right choice? )
The creature came forward with his syringe device and stuck it in Summer's head and she fell over. The syringe was filled with a pink liquid that matched the color of Summer's shirt. The creature then came to Morty. Morty tried fighting it but Rick held him down. He screamed as the syringe devise went into his skin and then there was nothing.
Summer and Morty wake up from the helmet. "What the heck! Did we just die?! Do you remember any of that? " Summer asked. Morty shook his head no. "Then these vials must be like a virtiual reality, right? We couldn't have died, we are alive right now", Summer said. There was a long pause. "Or maybe these actually happned!" Summer said panicking, "Maybe Rick cleared this from our minds so we would never remember what happned to us!" Morty being a bit shy, "Well...uhh.. yeah maybe.. that does seem like something Rick would do but.. why would he? Did something bad happen to us?" Curious to see what happened next, they both begin to look at the vials to see where they would be placed. The vials next to the Fall were paired; one said "Princess" so Summer picked it up and put it in her helmet. Morty looks at the one that was next to hers and it says "E___ Morty". The first word was smudged and he could not figure out what it was. He decided to just put it in his helmet and see what happened. Morty figured it couldn't be too bad since it had his name on it. Morty put the vial in and saw the screen pop up.
Authors Note: The following short stories will be about what happens with Rick and Morty meets Indian Epics. It will be following the tale of Jaya and Vijaya. These characters will be played by Morty and Summer. Rick will be playing the god Vishnu. In the Jaya and Vijaya story, these two were the doormen of the god Vishnu. One day after denying entrance to another god, they were cursed. Vishnu spoke on their behalf and allowed them to choose their fate. They could either live as devotees of Vishnu on Earth for seven lifetimes or as enemies of Vishnu for three lifetimes on Earth. I paralleled this to Morty and Summer. They were rude to a creature and therefore were cursed by it. They then now had a choice to determine their fate that would require them to be “reincarnated”/ have minds transplanted into another life form but it would be without their grandpa. To them this is almost a death sentence because they have no knowledge of other places and always cling to their grandpa for support. I chose the picture because it really connected with how I feel they felt at the time: worried, anxious, confused, and scared. I really like Rick and Morty and thought I could connect the two pretty well, which is why I decided to go with it. For those that watch the show I hope it was understood that the vials are a reference to Morty's Mind Blowers. To those that haven't seen it, watch it and these vials are memories that Rick has earased. Therefore, I am using them as old collections of memories that have been stored secretly. Summer and Morty are now discoveirng a past that they never new existed. Hope you all enjoy!
