Biography 

Early Life

Boston Brand endured a harsh childhood with violent and abusive parents. Seeking escape, he joined Haly’s Circus as a street vendor, finding stability among the traveling troupe. Though starting from the ground level, Brand’s ambition pushed him to learn trapeze and acrobatics from his fellow performers, determined to earn a real share of the box office.

Rise to Stardom

Brand’s big break came when the famous Flying Graysons stepped back from their most dangerous acts due to an impending child, allowing him to take over. As “Deadman,” his daredevil performances thrilled audiences, who came expecting danger and disaster. Offstage, Boston became a leader in the circus, managing logistics and tightening schedules to maximize profits. His fame allowed him to tour nationwide, living a reckless personal life while also strengthening business ties.

Brand’s ambition led him to partner with wealthy businessman Tony Zucco, accepting his offer to use Haly’s Circus as a front for a drug trafficking scheme. Boston intended to betray Zucco, taking the initial payment before exposing the plot to authorities. However, Zucco discovered it and struck first—sabotaging the performance of The Flying Graysons.

Following their death, Haly’s Circus struggled financially, going bankrupt. In its final performance, Deadman attempted a tribute act in spirit to his fallen colleagues, but a guilt-ridden slip caused him to falter before the end.

After Life

In death, Boston Brand did not find peace. The light abandoned him, leaving his spirit trapped on Earth. Now, as Deadman, he must navigate a continuous learning process—intervening in the lives of the living while proving that he too can be worthy of a second chance.
