GoalDriven ("GoalDriven," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when using the GoalDriven mobile application.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be stored or shared, and the choices available to you.

GoalDriven does not collect precise location information.

Create and manage households, parent accounts, and child accounts
Provide core app functionality, including goals, chores, points, milestones, approvals, and transaction history
Sync account and household data through cloud services
Improve app stability, reliability, and performance

We do not sell your personal information.
3. Parent and Child Household Data
GoalDriven is designed for families and may include both parent and child accounts.
In GoalDriven:
Parents manage the household setup
Parents control goals, chores, approvals, deductions, invites, and household access
Children may submit chores, view assigned goals, view progress, and receive parent feedback
Children cannot directly alter approved point history or administrative household settings
Parents or guardians are responsible for the information they create, manage, or approve inside the household experience.
4. Authentication and Account Access
GoalDriven currently uses account-based authentication to provide secure access to household data.
Depending on the version of the app you use, authentication may be handled through trusted service providers such as Firebase Authentication.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for restricting access to your device.
5. Cloud Storage and Service Providers
GoalDriven may use third-party cloud providers to operate core features. These may include:
Firebase / Google for authentication, database, and related backend services
Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, and certain device-level services
These providers may process information on our behalf in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
We use third-party providers only as needed to operate and improve GoalDriven.
6. Purchases, Billing, and Subscriptions
If GoalDriven offers paid subscriptions or in-app purchases:
Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store
We do not receive or store your full payment card details
Apple may provide limited purchase or subscription status information to us, such as whether a subscription is active or expired
If your version of GoalDriven does not currently include paid subscriptions, this section applies only when those features are introduced.
7. Notifications
GoalDriven may send notifications related to app functionality, such as:
Pending chore approvals
Redo requests
New chores or goal activity
Progress updates
You can manage notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
8. Children’s Privacy
GoalDriven is intended for family use and may include child profiles managed as part of a parent-controlled household.
We do not knowingly use children’s personal information for third-party advertising.
Children participate within a parent-managed experience, and parents control household setup, goals, access, and submitted information.
If you believe a child has provided personal information outside the intended parent-managed use of GoalDriven, please contact us.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet and no storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide GoalDriven services, maintain household functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You may request account deletion or use available in-app account deletion features where supported.
Please note:
Certain technical records may persist for a limited period in backups, logs, or service-provider systems
Some information may be retained as required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance
Household-related deletion behavior may depend on account role, including whether the account is a parent household owner or a child member
11. Third-Party Services
GoalDriven may rely on third-party services for functionality such as:
Authentication
Cloud database storage
Diagnostics
Analytics
App distribution and billing
We do not authorize third parties to use your GoalDriven household data for their own advertising purposes through the app experience.
12. Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information
GoalDriven does not sell your personal information.
GoalDriven is not designed around third-party behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly use children’s information for advertising purposes.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of GoalDriven after an update means the updated policy will apply to your use of the app.
