GoalDriven Help & Support
Welcome to GoalDriven.
GoalDriven helps families turn long-term rewards into clear, motivating progress. Parents can create goals, assign chores and responsibilities, approve submissions, and track each child’s progress with transparency and fairness.
If you need help getting started, this guide walks through the basics.
Getting Started
1. Create Your Family Workspace
Parents start by creating a household inside GoalDriven. This becomes the shared space where goals, chores, milestones, and progress are managed.
From there, parents can:
Create reward goals
Add children to the household
Generate invite codes for child accounts
Manage chores, milestones, and approvals
2. Create a Goal
Each child can work toward a different reward, or a family can use a shared goal if desired.
Examples include:
Car
Bike
Gaming system
Phone
Computer
Trip
TV
Savings match
Custom reward
When creating a goal, parents can:
Choose a template or create a custom reward
Set the target date
Set the total points required
Set a monthly pace and let GoalDriven calculate the total automatically
Enable or disable deductions
3. Add Chores and Tasks
Parents can create reusable task templates in categories such as:
Chores
School
Responsibility
Extra Credit
Tasks can be:
Assigned to the whole family
Assigned to one specific child
Customized with a point value
Edited later as expectations change
4. Invite Your Child
Parents can generate an invite code from the family management area.
Children can:
Create their own child account
Enter the invite code
Join the household
View only the goals and chores relevant to them
5. Submit Work and Earn Points
Children complete a task and submit it for review.
Parents can then:
Approve it
Deny it
Send it back as a redo with feedback and an updated point value
Approved work adds points to the child’s progress automatically.
6. Track Progress
GoalDriven helps both parent and child see:
Total approved points earned
Progress toward the goal
Expected pace vs. current pace
Needed pace to stay on track
Time remaining until the target date
Full transaction history
7. Use Milestones
Milestones help break a large goal into meaningful checkpoints.
Examples:
Learner’s permit completed
30 days of consistency
Safety gear ready
First savings checkpoint reached
Parents can create, edit, reorder, complete, and delete milestones at any time.
