Earnmark — Terms of Use

By using Earnmark ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Overview

Earnmark is a job costing and profit tracking application designed for electricians and small trade contractors. The App is provided by Evan Lanni ("we," "us," "our").

2. Account

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address. One account per person.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Earnmark offers a free trial period of 10 days. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device. Subscription prices are clearly displayed before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Google Play settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the App, using the App for illegal purposes, or interfering with the App's operation.

5. Your Data

You own the data you enter into Earnmark. We do not sell your data. We store your data securely using industry-standard practices. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Earnmark is a tracking and reporting tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. Financial calculations provided by the App are based on the data you enter and may not reflect your complete financial picture.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
