Privacy Policy

Earnmark ("we," "our," or "the app") is a job-tracking application designed for small residential electricians. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address through Supabase Authentication. We do not have access to your password - that is handled entirely by Supabase.

All data other than "status" and "job number" in the app is provided directly by you and stored in a secure Supabase database. This includes:

• Job details: job title, description, type, status, scheduled date, job number, estimated and actual revenue and costs

• Client information: client first name, last name, address, phone number, and email

• Labor entries: time logs with start and end times and notes, linked to your jobs

• Costs: cost name, amount, category, quantity, charge-to-customer amount, and notes, linked to your jobs

• Favorites: saved items with name, category, default price, and customer price, linked to your user profile

• Hourly rate and labor burden rate: stored in your user profile

• Monthly overhead: stored in your user profile

• Receipt photos uploaded through the app: stored in Supabase Storage

• Onboarding survey responses: how you track costs, whether you know your profit, and how you estimate jobs

• Feedback: any messages you submit through the app

We collect your device's timezone for accurate time display. We do not collect location data or any other data from your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and provide the features of Earnmark, including creating and managing jobs, tracking time and costs, calculating job financials, displaying your job information in Overview, Time, Costs, and Profit pages, displaying your jobs in Jobs and Job History pages, generating Reports and analytics, and exporting job data as CSV files. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase. We rely on Supabase's built-in security features to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Third-party services that process your data include Supabase (authentication and data storage), Resend (transactional emails such as password resets), and RevenueCat (subscription management).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can delete your account directly from the Settings page within the app. This permanently removes all your data. In the event we discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export or request deletion of your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Earnmark is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
